Jorge has worked with multiple designers and department stores as a fashion show director overseeing  every aspect of the event, from its conception to the final presentation. His bold runway shows for design houses like Sylvio NYC , Andrew Christian and Unico Underwear enhanced the designers collections with stimulating presentations while his collaborative efforts with retail establishments like Urban Body ,Reborn Couture and NV have left audiences thrilled. 

 

As the Creative Director for OMG Magazine : Art and Fashion Issue and Tampa Bay Luxury Magazine Fashion Editor he pushed the growth and mindset of the bay area’s fashion conscious with provocative and avant guard approach to editorial spreads , photo shoots and  the presentation of  local artists and designers while working with renowned fashion photographers like Michael Anthony Downs and John Revisky. 

 

As a host Jorge Alvarado has also produced and hosted The Jorge Show which won Best Lifestyle Talk Show at the 2014 Talkie Awards. “Happy Hour and All Things Fabulous" is the show’s theme and is the only show in the Tampa Bay area to be taped in front of a live studio audience. Segments of the weekly program include celebrity interviews from stars like designers Betsy Johnson and Fashion Police star Margaret Cho, red carpet reporting from events like the International Indian Film Academy awards , the  American Black Film Festival and the music festival Vans Warped Tour . Keeping true to his fashion roots Jorge features many behind the scenes commentaries and looks at fashion shows like Fashion Week El Paseo with designer Michale Costello , Tucson Fashion week with the Project Runway All Stars and Tampa Bay Fashion week with Crystal Hefner.

On top of television appearances on Dr. Drew and Studio 10 and contributing style reports on shows like A La Moda con Judy on the MIRA TV Network ,  Buenos Dias Latinos on Mega TV and Jorge has also  made several appearances on radio shows like Orlando and The Freaks , the Urban Cafe and Beuaty and the Berg on Life Improvement Radio. 

 

The experience in fashion and media along with his  universal appeal and branding strategies continue to grow his audience as an influencer . Hosting events and blogging has acquired over 20k followers plus on social media and landed successful promotional partnerships with Hand and Stone Massage , Pet Super Market, Soul Rooster dance studio , Rhonda Shear Enterprises and Tech Dent.
